The Jagadguru Graces Bhadrachalam
Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji arrived on 7th January 2013 at the holy temple town of Bhadrachalam. On arrival at Amba Satram, Dhuli Pada Puja was performed to the Jagadguru and Swagata Patrikas were read. The Jagadguru blessed the gathering with an Anugraha Bhashanam and performed the Sharada Chandramoulishwara Puja. After the Puja, the Jagadguru inaugurated Sri Bharathi Teertha Nilayam that will serve to cater to the lodging needs of pilgrims visiting Bhadrachalam.
On 8th January 2013, the Jagadguru proceeded to Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy temple where temple authorities received the Jagadguru with Poornakumbha. The Jagadguru had Darshan of Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy and Sri Lakshmana. The authorities of the Peetham then honoured the Jagadguru in the Sabha where Veda Seva was held. The Jagadguru blessed the temple authorities, Archakas and Vedic scholars.
On 9th January 2013, the Jagadguru performed the Prathishta Kumbhabhisheka of Goddess Bala Tirupura Sundari as well as Kumbhabhisheka for the shrine of Sri Ramalingeshwara.
